Only drivers may protest other drivers.

Protest must be made to Track Technician/s and any or all fees must be
in his/her possession before protests are accepted.

Inspections will be made at location designated by track officials.

When a protest is made it must be exact detailed, you may not expand a
bump or protest once it id declared to the track technician. Track
official, in the process, will conduct inspection no more than three
people associated with the protested car to remove parts and no more
than two people making protest to observe. only ONE spokesperson from
each racing team during protest. There is not a counter protest
provision. Once a protest is announced from the tower it must be carried
out or the protest money will go to the protesting car and driver.
Toccoa Motor Speedway will retain usual fees for items protested.

All race car parts that are protested must be immediately available to
technician until race car leaves Toccoa Motor Speedway grounds.

Failure to present protested car parts will make car illegal.
1. VISUAL PROTEST

May be made at anytime up to 30 min. prior to the start of the main
event for the class.

$25 per item protested.

Must pertain to the external visible parts of the car.

If found legal protested car driver receives $15.00 per item (less
the $10.00 per time retained by Toccoa Motor Speedway).

IF found illegal, protester will have his pocket fee returned (less
the $10.00 per item retained by Toccoa Motor Speedway).

No car will be allowed to race with any item determined to be
illegal.

Protest of insignificant items to do give a competitive advantage
will not be considered.
2. INTERNAL PROTEST

Must be made within 5 min. after completion of main event of the
class.

Only the cars finishing immediately ahead of you may be protested.
You may protest more than one car, for example; if you finish fourth you
may protest in order third, second, first place cars. Total number of
cars protested by a protester must have fees for each car protested in
track technician's possession within 5 min. of the main event of class.
3. IF YOU REFUSE TO BE INSPECTED under protest you will be considered
illegal. IF YOU DO NOT START YOUR ENGINE disassembly in 45 minutes, this
will be considered as being illegal.
4. IF YOU DO NOT REFUSE TO TEAR DOWN but you do declare yourself illegal
you may race at next meet, with track permission.
5. THERE IS NO GRACE PERIOD ON PROTEST; you may be protested at every
race event.
6. IF PROTESTED YOU WILL BE ALLOWED 45 min. to cool your engine. You may
start your engine and tear down sooner if you would like.
7. YOU WILL BE ALLOWED ONE HOUR for cylinder head removal.
8.
YOU WILL BE ALLOWED ONE AND ONE-HALF HOUR FOR ENGINE TOP AND BOTTOM
DISASSEMBLY.
