Frames
A) Any jig or clip car


Roll Cage

A. All cars have boxed roll cage with 1 1/2 o.d. x .083" min.

B. Must have 3 bars in left door and 2 bars in right door.


Bodies
A) S.A.S, Lucas Oil
B) All non approved bodies will be assessed with a minimum of 50lb weight penalty

Wheels
A) Aluminum or steal 14" max. Width.
B) NO! Carbon fiber


Tires
OPEN TIRE RULE


Wheelbase
A) 103 side to side 1” tolerance


Ignition
A) No traction control
B) Any other is ok

Fuel
A) Any racing fuel
B) No alcohol, No nitrous

Transmissions
A) Bert and Brinn Transmissions allowed
B) Any type of clutch is permitted
C) Must have a forward and reverse. No direct drives
CARBURETORS:

One four barrel permitted. / NO dominators permitted.


Engine Placement

A. Engine must not be more than 2" from center of the frame rail.

B. Engine setback will be 6" from center of top ball joint to most forward spark plug

Intake Manifold

A. Aluminum intake permitted.

Engine
A. 362 cubic inches maximum.

B. Cast iron block only.

C Flat top pistons.

D. The dome may be removed from pop-up type pistons to make flat top pistons

E. .060" overbore permitted.

F. High performance camshafts permitted.

G. No mushroom or roller lifters permitted.

H. Any steel rods permitted.

I. Crankshaft may be deburred.

J. 302 Fords may be stroked to meet 362 cubic inches.

L. Any wet oil pans permitted.

M. Lifter valley may be polished.

N. Balancing permitted.

O. Engine may be crossed from one manufacturer to another.

P. Crankshaft stock stroke.

Q. No dry sump permitted.


Heads

A. Cast iron only. No C.C. limit

B. Matching of ports OK up to ½ in

C. H.P. valve springs and retainers permitted.

D. Titanium retainers permitted.

E. Needle bearing rocker arms permitted.

F. Maximum valve size: For all engines, Intake: 2,020, Exhaust: 1,600.

G. Chevy. 23 degree heads only. Angle cut heads permitted.

H. Screw in studs and guide plates permitted.

I. No more than 3 angles on valve jobs.

Weight rule: 2,400 after race. 1lb per lap burn off

Crate 602: 2200lbs
Crate 604: 2300lbs


Extra engine weights
A) 10 degree ford heads add 100 lbs
B) Polishing, porting heads add 50 lbs.
C) Intake porting, polishing add 50lbs



Track will P & G Engine & check for a roller (cost) $250. The Track may deem it necessary to remove the Carburetor and Intake to do this. This Rule pertains only to the top (4) finishers.
